Goals Management System
The Accelerus Goals Management System has been created in response to the requests and input of many special educators from diverse schools. Their dedication to the needs of children inspired us to create software that would not only assist school accountability and teacher work-flows, but more importantly, could help improve the learning outcomes for each individual child.

What is our Goals Management System?
The Goals Management System assists schools with developing individual learning programs for their students. Goals may be individually crafted or drawn from a bank of goals and customised, which ensures every student has appropriate goals. A history of progress, including anecdotal updates and school defined ratings, can be recorded against each goal. These ratings can be used to plot progress towards completion of the goal over time. Examples of how schools can use Goals Management System include:
- Individual Learning Plans
- Behaviour Management Plans
- Managed Individual Pathways (MIPS)
- Tracking VET competency achievement
- Tracking achievement throughout strands in the Australian Curriculum

About Accelerus
- Accelerus is an easy to use, intelligent, intuitive assessment and reporting tool, enabling Foundation-12 schools to influence every student’s individual learning outcomes, through the process of recording, tracking, analysing and reporting on student milestones.
- Teachers can record all of their assessment, NAPLAN, and standardised testing results in Accelerus, enabling it to be used as a centrally located, secure database, which can be accessed at any time, to instantly produce a current student profile.
- Accelerus caters to the changing needs of the Australian National Curriculum - so student assessment milestones are always relevant, ensuring schools are focusing on the most up to date curriculum requirements.
- You can also access Accelerus via the web. This enables teachers to access their class files using any web browser, without needing a windows operating system.
- Accelerus stores all student assessment data in an historical database over time, allowing schools to run analytical queries to track student performance at any time. Principals and administrators are able to run analyses and extract data across any area of the database, for example, differing year levels, key learning areas, student cohorts, subjects, etc, identifying trends and subsequently responding to the changing needs of students and teachers.

How to buy
Pricing Structure
Accelerus prices are based on the following:
- The number of campuses or sub-schools - which will influence the number of databases / licences
- The size of the school - number of FTE (full time equivalent) teaching staff
- Additional software modules purchased - i.e. Goals Management System
- Annual support fees
Costs will vary:
- when multiple database licenses are required - i.e. where a school has separate campuses or sub-schools, using Accelerus independently of each other
- where a school has multiple campuses or sub schools, running Accelerus as one integrated system - (only a single database license is required)
Additional Services
The following services are also available to schools, at an additional cost:
Training
- a minimum of 2 days training for Accelerus administrators is essential, with additional days required for Goals Management System
- small group training courses are held periodically in major centres, or on-site if requested - ( content, duration and cost will vary)
