How to remove the summary Curriculum Area/Strand graphics for a year level

Overview

Some schools may choose not to print the summary page for some year levels. For example the Prep students often don't get the Curriculum Area/Strand graphics semester 1 reports. This article outlines how to remove the Curriculum Area/Strand graphics from the summary page for a year level

How to remove the summary Curriculum Area/Strand graphic off the reports

1. Open the Quick Setup
   • Log into Accelerus Light
   • Click on the Management menu in the top of the window
   • Click on the relevant Quick Setup (eg in Semester 1 2021 for a Primary school, click Semester 1 2021 Primary Quick Setup)
2. Remove the summary options from the Quick Setup
   • The letter S in a Curriculum Area or Strand cell indicates that that Curriculum Area or Strand cell will print on the summary page. If you do not want the Curriculum Area/Strand to print on the summary page it should not have an S.
   • Find the subjects for the year level from which you want to remove the summary dots eg. all prep subjects.
   • Click in any cell containing an S (eg. AS or ARS)
   • Ensure the cell now shows -S, but that any A and R settings are unchanged (eg. no +R, +A, -R, -A)
   • Click Save
   • If adding any new Curriculum Areas for the subject ensure they do not have an S in the cell
   • Click Build
